Lucille M. Griswold resides in Maryland with her husband William. The critically acclaimed author was born and raised in Matawan, New Jersey, and was inducted into the Matawan Regional High School’s Hall of Fame in 2013. She has lived, worked and traveled around the world. In addition, Lucille has had poems printed in numerous anthologies.
This will be Lucille’s seventh novel. Her first Children’s Book made its debut in 2017, and Lucille was nominated for The NY Literary Magazine Best Story Award. She is also a composer of songs published by a Hollywood, California record producer.
An only child, Lucille is now amazed how her family has grown exponentially from the day she married William. Lucille loves her large family. All of them have many fun events they celebrate together. She grew up in a wonderful atmosphere in a small town, and together she and William saw that each other became educated. William's career took her around the world where they lived in many different areas and vacationed in exotic places.
Working as a civil service employee at that time meant that Lucille could find a job at most of the places where they lived. These places included Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, to the Pentagon in Washington and Virginia, to Fort Bliss, Texas and several varied jobs in Nurnberg, Germany.
Lucille recently took a trip with her two daughters to California and Hawaii where she also visited a grandson in California, and a granddaughter in Hawaii. It was fun seeing the areas where she once lived and for her daughters to view the schools they once attended. Even better was getting to stay at the Hale Koa Military Hotel on Waikiki Beach...among some of the best parcels of land in Hawaii. When Lucille lived there the hotel had not yet been built, but the cabins where they stayed were equally as superb. However, having various different children live in Hawaii, Lucille and Bill have been back many times since they once lived there.
A lot of Lucille's history can be found in her critically acclaimed book Life Lived in Reverse: A Memoir.
