Too Busy

This time of year we become so engrossed in “things” we tend to not want to get together during the holidays. You should take the time to spend special holidays with family and friends the most. That does not mean on Christmas Day only. Perhaps this is a good time to refresh everyone about being Too Busy as the poem states.

Everyone’s so busy, “I’m too busy,” they will say
So busy they can’t meet with you or go to see a play

Money, power shallow things seem more important to partake
And the excuse of cleaning house, well, please give me a break!

Life’s too short you busy guys go see a friend and smell the flowers
Enjoy a luncheon at the mall or walking in spring showers

Your friend won’t always be around, we can’t predict our fate
How sad that you won’t make the time before it is too late

Too busy for your friend, my sister or my brother?
Never mind your friend will know to just go find another
